Your spiritual journey begins in the ancient "Temple City" of Madurai. Madurai is one of the oldest living cities in the world, renowned for its rich heritage and the majestic Meenakshi temple.
In the afternoon, we visit the world-famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, an architectural marvel with its 14 gopurams and the Thousand Pillar Hall. Later, we explore the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, which showcases a blend of Italian and Dravidian styles. In the evening, witness the soul-stirring Night Ceremony (Puja) where the deities are taken in a procession. Overnight stay in Madurai.
After breakfast, we drive towards the holy island of Rameshwaram. The journey is made memorable by crossing the Pamban Bridge, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Rameshwaram is a vital part of the Char Dham pilgrimage and is steeped in the legends of the Ramayana.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed to the Ramanathaswamy Temple. This temple is famous for having the longest corridor in the world. You will have the opportunity to take a holy dip in the 22 Theerthams (sacred wells) before offering prayers to the main deity. Evening visit to Agnitheertham and Ram Jharokha. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
Early morning, we take a trip to Dhanushkodi, the abandoned town at the tip of the island where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean. Witness the surreal ruins of the 1964 cyclone and the legendary Ram Setu point. After returning for breakfast, we begin our drive towards Tiruchendur, one of the Arupadaiveedu (six abodes) of Lord Murugan.
Tiruchendur is unique because it is the only abode of Lord Murugan located on the seashore. On arrival, check into your hotel and visit the Subramanya Swamy Temple. The temple's majestic gopuram and the sea waves washing the temple walls create a divine atmosphere. Spend the evening in peaceful meditation by the shore. Overnight stay in Tiruchendur.
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise at the Tiruchendur beach. After breakfast, we drive to the southernmost tip of India, Kanyakumari. This coastal drive offers views of massive wind farms and rustic villages. Kanyakumari is the unique point where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet.
Arrive and check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, take a ferry ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the 133-foot Thiruvalluvar Statue. Later, visit the Bhagavathy Amman Temple and the Gandhi Mandapam. The highlight of the day is witnessing the spectacular Sunset over the three oceans from the shore. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.
