After settling in, we begin with a visit to the Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore, showcasing classic Dravidian style. We also drive past the Marina Beach, the second longest urban beach in the world, and visit San Thome Cathedral. The evening is yours to explore the local culture of this vibrant metro. After breakfast, we check out and drive towards Trichy. This journey takes you through the fertile plains of the Cauvery delta. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Rockfort Ucchi Pillayar Temple, which is situated on a massive rock dating back billions of years. Today, we proceed to Madurai. En route, we stop at Thanjavur (Tanjore) to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Brihadeeswarar Temple (The Big Temple). Marvel at the monolithic Nandi and the shadowless vimana. After exploring the Tanjore Palace, we continue our drive to the "Temple City" Madurai. On arrival, check in and relax. A full day is dedicated to Madurai Sightseeing. We visit the world-famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, exploring the 1000-pillar hall and its majestic gopurams. Next, we visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, a stunning palace representing Indo-Saracenic architecture. We also include visits to the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Alagar Kovil. Post breakfast, we head towards Rameshwaram. Crossing the iconic Pamban Bridge over the sea is a highlight of this trip. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
